52 weeks of colour challenge - Coral

Another week - another colour challenge from Luna Jubilee!

This week the colour set was 'Coral' - I struggled with this one a bit but I gave it a go.

Monday Rush

After a full on crazy weekend with my cousins in RL
I could not wake up this morning on time for work, which is so unlike me,
I mean, okay, i snooze my alarm more than a few times, but never actually woken up at the time I should be in the office.
Cue mad rush.
bleugh..
I feel so crappy right now at work

A good start to the day

is hands down having a big breakfast - it really does makes you feel epic

The simple things

The downside of SL is that once you have a good group of friends,
the time differences are all over the place & can really cross over!

I love the rare times when we can all be on at the same time but that only ever happens every so often.
As alot of my friends know, being an explorer, and a 'wanderer', I do love the times to myself most of the time! and always manage to stumble across beautiful sims, and meet amazing people

- But sometimes, being on your own, just being yourself, is the best place to  be.

52 Weeks of Colour Challenge - Champagne

I watched with alot of interest during last years 52 weeks of colour challenge that Luna set up, and vowed I would start from the beginning in the new year. I'm stupidly so excited to try each colour that's set in the coming weeks!

Ice Queen

I was in a beautiful wintry sim this morning, where everything just looked so serene, pure and bright
- I donned one of my white faux fur jackets, slipped on my shades and posed my ass off .
It reminded me of what my old friends used to call the 'Ice Queens' - these were the beautiful stunning avatars who never used to help us out in our noob days.

Picture a naive dumbass little girl all those years ago,
who did not know how to unpack an outfit, use a poseball or even sit!
Back in those days, I recall seeing these amazing beautiful avatars and walking around in wonder,
a few times I plucked up the courage to ask one of these stunning avatars where she bought their hair from,
they would take one look at our newbie forms, no AO, awful outfits and completed ignored us.

My fellow noob friends told me they're just ice queens bishes & we'd work things out ourselves,
- I would have taken out the 'Ice Queen' and just called them Bishes ;)

Reflecting

 Arrived into work and once i caught up with my colleagues, went through my work emails,
I got myself a coffee and logged into SL. - routines back to normal!

Taking the lights away

Its that time of year, when alot of people are back at work tomorrow,
all the parties have been done, wayyy to much food and drink consumed,
but alot of fun had...
took the lights down inworld and in RL today - always hate that part!
Not before stalling the process, throwing myself down and taking in one last breath of the festive surroundings...agh, theres always next year to go even bigger, wilder and crazier with everything!

The year gone by and the one that is near...

I thought i'd write a quick post before heading out about the New Year and the year just gone.

Im the type of girl that is very family orientated in RL (I havent really done the whole family thing in SL yet!).

Growing up I remember at times just so frustrated by having so many sisters,
so many ppl in the house, sharing bedrooms, waiting forever to go to the bathroom, fighting over outfits, squabbles over jewellery.....lol

I think of all those things now and it makes me smile, they're all such fond memories...
I think thats why I've always said to myself that when I'm all 'grown up' and married like my sisters,
I will have a lot of children..(God willing). i used to say when I was a kid, that i'd have a football team lol.

Despite the MANY arguments and bitching sisters and brothers do, I realised the long and hard way of a family's worth, its priceless.
there's no one more willing to fight FOR you,
to support you in reaching your dreams,
to celebrate victories with you whilst knowing what it cost you to get there.....

I'll be forever grateful to God for giving me all of my siblings,
for allowing us to know, when we are all older, to still love each other fiercely and be there.

The last year has been a big one for all my family,
there has been new a niece and a nephew born,
houses bought,
holidays,
a family death which shattered us,
and so many birthdays...
whilst next year its my brothers wedding....

Everything has brought my family more closer and tighter as a unit.

I pray the New Year continues that,
may we all be healthy, happy and surrounded by the ones we love.

I'm not even sure if many ppl read this blog, it's something I find comfort in, and I love voicing my thoughts and enconters in SL on here. And I really appreciate the guys that do read this, your feedback and positivity has meant alot to me.
I started out only 2 months or so ago with this blog, it's brought  me much pleasure and it's enabled me to meet fantastic ppl inworld in SL along the way.

I sincerely hope this continues next year
